Waitlist, not live

WhatsApp is not live yet, and we are not going to pretend it is.

OpusDone cannot connect a WhatsApp number today: WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger are not live, and only the website widget and Telegram are. WhatsApp is the channel we are building next, and this page says where it stands and what to use in the meantime. Everything you set up now carries over when it opens.

  • WhatsApp is not live yet
  • Website widget and Telegram are live
  • Register interest, we will write

A friendly assistant character
The rules of the channel

Three things WhatsApp asks of any AI agent.

These are Meta’s constraints, not ours, and they explain both the wait and why we are reasonably confident about the fit.

01

Agents must be business-scoped

Meta’s January 2026 policy requires agents on WhatsApp to be scoped to a business rather than acting as general assistants. That is exactly how OpusDone is built, so the model fits the rule instead of being bent to it.

02

The first message needs a template

Business-initiated messages require pre-approved templates and are billed by Meta per conversation. That is a different shape from a website chat, where the customer always speaks first.

03

Free-form replies live in a 24-hour window

A customer’s message opens a 24-hour window, and free-form replies are only possible inside it. Outside the window you are back to templates, which changes how follow-up has to work.

Where WhatsApp sits

Which OpusDone channels are live today?

WhatsApp is not live yet. Here is the honest state of it.

  1. Today

    Website widget and Telegram

Both are live now, and every channel enters the same function so the answer does not depend on the door.

  2. Jan 2026

    Meta changed the rules

WhatsApp requires business-scoped agents under Meta’s January 2026 policy, which is exactly how OpusDone is built.

  3. Next

    The channel we are building

WhatsApp is the next channel on the bench, and your knowledge, scope and escalation rules do not change when it arrives.

  4. At launch

    Templates and the window

Business-initiated messages need pre-approved templates billed per conversation by Meta, and free-form replies are only possible inside the 24-hour window a customer’s message opens.

  5. Your move

    Start now, move across

Build on the website widget and Telegram today and be moved across when WhatsApp opens.

What to do now

What can you set up in OpusDone before WhatsApp opens?

  1. 01

Put the widget on your site

One script tag, no iframe. This is live today and it is where most first contacts happen anyway, since a visitor is anonymous and one click from gone.
  2. 02

    Connect Telegram

Also live today, as a customer channel and as your own alerts and takeover surface. Two separate bots, and about two minutes to set the second one up.
  3. 03

    Build the knowledge once

Every channel enters the same function, so knowledge and instructions are not per-channel work. Import from your website, approve what is right, and only entries marked live ever reach the assistant.
  4. 04

Test it properly in the sandbox

Your real instructions, your real tools, and no leads, alerts, analytics or escalations created. Calendar writes stay blocked unless you tick “book for real”, and no inbound channel can reach that mode.
  5. 05

Tell us WhatsApp is what you need

Register your interest and we will write to you when it opens, and move you across. That is the whole offer on this page: no number to connect, no beta flag to ask for.

When does WhatsApp open?

We are not giving you a date we cannot hold, because a made-up timeline is exactly the kind of thing this product refuses to do to your customers. It is the next channel we are building. Register and you will hear from us when it is real.

What carries across

Nothing you build now is wasted

  • WhatsApp is not live yet. The website widget and Telegram are.
  • One script tag puts the widget on your site. No iframe.
  • Every channel enters one function, so answers do not vary.
  • Your knowledge, your scope and your never-do rules move across unchanged.
  • The five escalation reasons and the human-request guardrail move across too.
  • Bookings through Google Calendar or Cal.com are unaffected by channel.
  • Leads land in your Google Sheet or https endpoint either way.
  • Meta requires business-scoped agents from January 2026, which is how OpusDone works.
  • Business-initiated messages will need pre-approved templates, billed per conversation by Meta.
  • Free-form replies only inside the 24-hour window a customer opens.
  • Owner alerts and takeover stay in Telegram and email.
  • Start on the widget today and be moved across at launch.

What is this page not claiming about WhatsApp?

Read this section as the correction to any impression the rest of the page gave you.

There is no WhatsApp number to connect

Not on any plan, not on request, not in a private beta. If you need WhatsApp working this month, OpusDone is not the answer this month.

There are no WhatsApp owner alerts

Your alerts and takeover controls run on Telegram, in-app and email. WhatsApp is not part of that side of the product either.

Instagram and Messenger are not live

The live channels are the website widget and Telegram. Anything else you may have seen listed as a channel is not connected yet.

Nothing above is a launch date

We have described what WhatsApp requires and where we are. We have not committed to a month, because we would rather be dull than wrong.

Nothing you build now is thrown away

Knowledge, instructions, escalation targets and calendar connections are channel-independent. When WhatsApp opens it becomes another door into the same assistant.

WhatsApp questions, answered

Can I use WhatsApp with OpusDone today?

No. There is no WhatsApp integration available, on any plan. The live channels are the website widget and Telegram, and we would rather tell you that here than after you have signed up.

Does Meta’s policy rule out AI agents on WhatsApp?

Meta’s January 2026 policy requires agents to be business-scoped rather than general-purpose. OpusDone is built that way already: a platform layer, appended after your own instructions and not editable by the client, scopes the assistant to one named business.

Will my setup transfer across?

Yes. Every channel enters the same function, so your knowledge entries, instructions, escalation targets and calendar connection are not specific to the widget or to Telegram. Adding a channel later does not mean redoing the configuration.

Why is it taking longer than a website widget?

WhatsApp is a permissioned channel with its own rules. Business-initiated messages need pre-approved templates and are billed by Meta per conversation, and free-form replies only work inside the 24-hour window a customer’s message opens. Those are real product decisions, not a switch to flip.

What will it cost when it arrives?

Today’s plans are Starter €39/month and Pro €99/month, with Business €199 coming soon and 15% off yearly. Meta bills business-initiated WhatsApp conversations per conversation, and we will tell you exactly what that means for your plan before WhatsApp opens rather than guess now.

How do I get told when it opens?

Register your interest through the contact form and say WhatsApp is what you are waiting for. We will write when it is available and move you across. In the meantime the sandbox is free and never gated, so you can have the assistant ready before the channel exists.

Start where it’s live, move across when WhatsApp opens

The website widget and Telegram are live today. WhatsApp is the channel we are building next, and everything you write now carries over to it.
